The Bloomingdale is a monk strap shoe, designed with a very round and pronounced shape for a distinctly British vintage style.
Made using Blake stitching in grained French calfskin from the Annonay tanneries, on a leather sole with a rubber pad. A must-have with classic trousers or tailored suits. The Bloomingdale Silver shoes are fully lined with cowhide leather.
They are delivered in a box made from FSC-certified forest-sourced cardboard.

BOX CALF LEATHER
Box calf leather is a full-grain calf leather that has been chrome-tanned. Being very smooth and durable, it is used for luxury leather goods and high-end footwear. Box calf leather can be recognised by the colour of its edge, which has a bluish-grey tint.

LEATHER SOLES
Leather soles feel superlatively good on your feet: their feel, their smoothness, the sound they make... Leather is a natural material that allows air to circulate, letting your feet breathe. It also helps to get rid of any moisture caused by perspiration and improves heat regulation.
However, we recommend you have a rubber pad fitted to help your leather sole wear more slowly, protect the stitching and gain more grip if you do decide to wear the shoes in wet weather.

- Your shoes need to dry and rest. Each night when you take them off, equip them with red cedar shoe trees to keep them in shape.
- We highly recommend to have a rubber protection fitted to improve the wear of your leather sole and also to improve adherence if worn when the weather is wet.
