Our CSR commitments
It’s about thoughtfully creating pieces that stand the test of time,
choosing natural, durable fabrics,
and surrounding ourselves with suppliers who share the same vision we do
while remaining price-conscious throughout the entire process.
See your style last, transcending fashion trends:
We’ve been designing men’s wardrobes in this way for the past 40 years.
Our ethos: timelessness.
It’s not easy to find pieces, garments and shoes that stay in fashion these days.
We firmly believe that updating your wardrobe can be a completely achievable and affordable thing to do. That’s why we remain mindful of not encouraging the over-consumption of products that only last for a short time.
Our collections are updated each season in a responsible, carefully-considered way, retaining our key pieces, and offering variations inspired by new colours, new fabrics...
Our aim is to create timeless pieces that you’ll love wearing, season after season.
Anti fast-fashion
Our collections are rolled out at a measured pace, with 20% to 30% of our collections updated each season. No more than two collections per year..
Lasting style
Timeless pieces that never follow the latest fashion trends. Our motto: offering you timeless style.
0 destruction
When our items fail to meet with their expected success, we offer end-of-line discounts so we don’t have to destroy them.
Green partner
Since 2023, we’ve drawn on the expertise of Waro to assess the environmental impact of our products and prepare ourselves for environmental label certification.
Choosing premium-quality fabrics to create durable products may seem easy, but in today’s world, this is no mean feat.
At Bexley, this aspect is non-negotiable: it’s a reality. By selecting fine materials in their natural state (calfskin, lambswool, organic cotton, European linen, etc.), we remain mindful of the environmental impact we have, over the long term.
We source the raw material at origin, where it’s recognised for its quality (calf leather in Europe, wool in Australia, cotton in India and Brazil, linen in Europe...) Also, wherever possible, we opt for linen over cotton, a more water-conservative fabric.
Fine, natural materials
Our materials are selected for their incredible natural qualities (100% aniline leather, 100% double thread cotton, 100% double thread wool, 100% linen, 100% silk, etc.)
Our shoes, suits, shirts, chinos, jumpers, polo shirts, t-shirts and leather jackets are made from 100% natural material, with nothing else added!
The right combinations of materials
We only opt to combine materials when they offer additional advantages by improving the technical features of our products or facilitating their care compared to using the primary material alone.
This is the case of cotton/polyester in our outerwear for rain protection, and cotton/linen in our summer shirts with a better ability to withstand intense heat.
Elastane is used to give trousers that necessary added touch of comfort. We’ve always turned away from anti-iron chemical finishes.
Sustainable wood
All of our products are crafted from wood, and our shoe trees are made from FSC-certified wood sourced from sustainably-managed forests.
Zero easy-iron
Our shirts are made from 100% cotton fabrics. We’ve always turned away from anti-iron chemical finishes.
Selecting our suppliers involves engaging with trustworthy partners in the long-term. We work together with them, some for the past more than 30 years.
We value support for local know-how, as well as adhering to recognised social standards and international labelled certification. It is thanks to these partnerships that we can offer items of the finest quality for your wardrobe.
Garantee of ethical practices
100% of our suppliers are committed to our ethos by signing our Code of Conduct.
Experts in their field
We select suppliers according to their know-how and ability to craft our materials:
Shoes in Portugal and Morocco,
Suits in Morocco and Tunisia,
Chinos, Polos, Tagelmusts and Leather Goods in India
Shirts, Parkas and Belts in China.
At Bexley, our responsibility doesn’t stop with the products we offer, as appealing as they are. Our commitment goes further, driving all aspects of our business objectives.
Points of sale, packaging, delivery, among other aspects. We firmly believe that to move forward, it’s the full customer experience that needs to progress; over time and in the right direction.
Sustainable shops
A sustainable shop concept has been in place for the past 40 years using oak furniture from FSC-certified, eco-managed forests. We switch off illuminated signs every night.
An inclusive, eco-designed website
Inclusive navigation to adapt to visual, movement and cognitive comfort needs. An eco-designed e-commerce structure with ongoing optimisation of its digital sobriety score (Quanta 76/100).
The orchestration of orders allows the optimisation of logistics flows between our warehouses and the delivery points selected by our customers (home delivery, collection points or at the shop).Financial incentives encourage deliveries and returns at designated collection points.
Packaging weighed up
Transport boxes are collected in our shops and reused so that they can be re-purposed or recycled. Our reusable shopping bags are made from recycled and recyclable polypropylene.
