Material & Manufacturing

Our mercerised cotton socks are carefully knitted in 100% Pure Coton - 2 ply mercerised cotton.
These classical light and comfortable socks are made with a discreet ribbing.
Hand-linked toe seams and toe and heel reinforcement.

Mid-leg length 41/42: 30 cm.
Different available colors to match easily with your Bexley shoes, shirts or belts.

Care Instructions: Machine wash 40°C - Tumble dry not recommended.

MERCERISED YARN

This pair of socks is made from 100% cotton mercerised yarn. Cotton is recommended for sensitive skin in summer and winter thanks to its hypoallergenic properties. It is a natural fibre that is lightweight and thermoactive. It can absorb up to 8.5% of its weight in moisture and is easy to maintain.

Although mercerised yarn is known in some languages as "Scottish yarn", it does not come from Scotland. It is a cotton yarn that has undergone various procedures to make it stronger and brighter. This technique means the yarn is better able to hold the dye: wash after wash, your socks will retain their original colour. In addition, the thinness of mercerised yarn makes it perfect with dress shoes.
