The Bexley vegetable tanning process gives a combination of both flexibility and abrasion resistance. There is also a fine leather channel running around the outsole to protect the stitching. Leather outsoles are known for their softness and flexibility. They offer a real comfort. We invite our customers, after about 15 days wearing their shoes, to ask their shoemaker to add a rubber pad on the outsole. It will protect the goodyear stiching and will offer a better adherence.
The shoe lovers will choose to let the outsole without pad. In any case, the goodyear construction will allow you to put new outsole as many times you want.
